I recently was a guest speaker at Heartland Consumers Power District Winter Conference in South Dakota.

 
 
 

I’m an EV educator and explainer [will change to another word for explainer!] This makes me an independent, brand fluid, electric vehicle explainer and educator. I help create and promote awareness of the value of EVs through continuous outreach and education to encourage people to switch to electric, to educate them about EVs benefits, and explain the impact of CO2 emissions from vehicles to further increase everyone’s understanding.

If you’ve ever felt completely in the dark about EV technology, you’re in the right place. I’ve been doing this for fourteen years - boots on the ground.

Through educating and connecting with people, I help to pollinate the idea of EVs – it’s all about having a conversation.

 

I’m an EV Coach 

As a volunteer EV Coach for Drive Electric Colorado, Nigel’s expertise can help increase our impact on the community and EV adoption.

Nigel is the “go-to” guy when it comes to EVs and never misses an opportunity to connect with and educate others.

He has made many long-lasting relationships with people and hopes to bring new connections to Drive Electric Colorado.

The next few years are pivotal, according to Nigel, and his vision is to have everyone be so educated about EVs in the next five years that he won’t need his job anymore.

Myth: You can’t off-road in an EV.

Buster: Many EV models come with AWD and towing capacity and newer models have off-road features with more coming out soon.

Myth: EVs don’t drive well in winter.

Buster: EVs are great in winter weather because of their weight distribution and maneuverability.

I have been married to a Wonder Woman named Karen. Family is my rock that I build my world around and there are no words to describe how Karen makes me feel deep within my soul, [Nigel adds more]

Dream it.

I have a daughter with autism. Olive enjoys helping me spread the EVlove. My daughter is incredible and inspires me every day. She has taught me many life lessons. Olivia is funny, curious, brave, smart, compassionate, and loving! My wife, Karen, and I hope to establish an IDD group home community and look forward to someone designing a portable AI "companion" for the IDD community.
